Wilson & Co. was established in 2005 when company principal, Greg Wilson, struck out on his own having identified a need in the Hunter region for a legal practice with a fresh, enthusiastic approach to client service. Greg was already well established in the legal fraternity having gained broad experience and extensive knowledge across a wide range of jurisdictions in the previous 14 years.

Greg enjoyed a reputation as one of the region’s best known and most highly respected legal practitioners and set about building a practice which would concentrate on customer service whilst maintaining the highest professional standards across a wide range of legal practice and commercial advice.

Greg initially assembled a team of specialists in their fields at new offices in The Junction, an inner-city Newcastle suburb, and later added an office in the New England area at Armidale. Following this sustained period of growth Greg eventually decided he would prefer to devote more of his time to the practice of Law rather than managing a team of Lawyers.

This decision saw him establish his current successful practice as a sole practitioner, working in Newcastle’s CBD.
