Arden Law has a proud history in Blayney dating back to 15 November 1893, when it was founded as Mayhew & Pile. Between 1917 and 2019, the firm was based at 54 Adelaide Street and evolved through several names, including Pile & Westgarth, George Pile & Co, WR L’Estrange & Moore, Moore & Co, and Cheney & Wilson.

In 2013, Tricia Arden acquired the firm, establishing Arden Law and embracing a new chapter of growth. In 2019, Tricia relocated the office to 116 Adelaide Street, bringing the firm into a new era while preserving the traditions and standards of excellence set by our predecessors.

Today, Arden Law is known for combining over 130 years of trusted service with a modern approach to legal practice. Under Tricia’s leadership, and with the support of her husband, Peter Arden SC – a respected barrister with over 33 years’ experience in significant cases including the Greek conspiracy case and Rice v Asplund - we remain committed to delivering practical and effective legal solutions.
